Private medical treatments
Therapy without referral!
Our medicinal bath also offers treatments not subsidised by social security. Medical therapies and thermal bathing are excellent for the prevention and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. Our rheumatologist medical specialist will assemble a medical programme to suit the individual needs of our guests.
Unlike treatments subsidised by social security, private treatment does not require a referral from a medical specialist. Our physiotherapist and (on Mondays) our rheumatologist, Dr. László, Márta can advise you on how to deal with problematic areas. An appointment with our doctor is required.

Therapeutic massage
A cure for all ills
It has many beneficial effects.
It increases the blood supply to the treated area, relieves adhesions, tensed muscles relax, weak muscles are strengthened, the skin and connective tissues are also refreshed and become more elastic. It helps to relieve rheumatic, neurological or injury-related complaints and is a very good nerve soother. It's worth a course of treatment, but even one session can work wonders.
Underwater jet massage – tangentor
Medicinal water and massage can work wonders
Underwater jet massage treatment is a combination of mechanotherapy and hydrotherapy.
Its beneficial physiological effect is mainly due to the massaging, pressing action of the water jet. The underwater jet massage presses the skin, and after the pressure is released, reactive blood flow is created, which increases the metabolism, and on the other hand, it has an effect on the lymphatic circulation, eliminating lymphatic congestion.
Another important biological effect is the improvement of muscle tone. It also has analgesic effects through these effects.
The treatment is carried out in a bath filled with warm medicinal water, from a suitable distance, with a water jet device operating at a suitable water pressure. The treatment starts from the lower limbs and then moves along the upper limbs and the spine, covering the whole body. The treatment time should be gradual, reaching a maximum of 20 minutes.
Indications:
During the post-operative treatment and rehabilitation of the spine, wear of hip, knee, ankle and shoulder joints, to relax the muscles along the spine and increase blood circulation. It is one of the most popular treatments in post-operative care.
Mud body mask (for 1-3 joints)
The combined power of Hévíz mud and Tiszakécske thermal water
The Hévíz mud mixed with our medicinal thermal water is excellent for rheumatic, degenerative musculoskeletal disorders, gynaecological diseases, and for post-treatment of injuries.
Its heat-retaining properties stimulate blood flow and relieve pain. The temperature of the mask is usually 40-45C, applied to the parts of the body prescribed by the doctor.
Carbonated bath
A real speciality, extremely effective
Treatment with carbon dioxide gas mixed with water dilates the blood vessels and increases the blood supply to the skin. It helps to oxygenate the heart muscle, thereby lowering blood pressure and relaxing the heart function.
It is mainly used in people with cardiovascular diseases, lower limb arterial and venous circulatory disorders and in rehabilitation after myocardial infarction.
Before using it, you must undergo a medical examination and can only be prescribed by a medical specialist. A qualified person must be present during treatment.
Dry carbon dioxide gas medicinal bath
Complex effect with dry carbon dioxide
This treatment has a truly complex effect, as the very high concentration of CO2 has a strong vasodilator effect, which is excellent for treating chronic diseases of the blood vessels, varicose veins and lymphatic vessels of the extremities, and vascular complications associated with diabetes, but the healing effect of sulphur and radon in varying concentrations is also well known.
Dry carbon dioxide gas medicinal baths should only be used as prescribed by a medical practitioner and in the presence of qualified personnel.
During a dry bath treatment, the bath is filled with carbon dioxide and the body is covered to prevent the gas escaping (leaving the guest free only from the neck up) and the patient is comfortably positioned in a bathing suit, at rest. A characteristic phenomenon during bathing is the feeling of warmth, flushing and sweating, which can be explained by the effect of CO2 on the sensory nerves.
The treatment lasts 25 minutes and should be repeated in a series of treatments for at least 2 weeks.
Underwater group physiotherapy
Doing together maybe more motivating
It is known that movement is easier in water, and joints and muscles are not under as much stress.
Therefore, under water, you can also perform otherwise difficult movements, and your muscles and joints can be thoroughly exercised.
Underwater physiotherapy is very effective for rheumatic complaints, joint wear and spinal pain. Physiotherapy in water does not require swimming skills, as the movements are performed in breast-deep water.
During the therapy, different tools are used to increase the effectiveness of the exercises.
